Make Allah (swt) your Greatest Source of Comfort “The man who finds intimacy with Allah (swt) feels lonely among the people.” (al-Durar al-Baahirah Pg.46) When the heart finds peace with Allah, it becomes less dependent on constant attention or approval from others. Sometimes faith requires us to make choices that are different from those around us. We should remain firm when our values conflict with popular trends or social pressures. Quiet moments spent in remembrance and reflection can help us understand ourselves and deepen our faith. A believer should appreciate people without becoming dependent upon their praise, acceptance, or approval.
