Make Allah (swt) your Greatest Source of Comfort
“The man who finds intimacy with Allah (swt) feels lonely among the people.” (al-Durar al-Baahirah Pg.46)
When the heart finds peace with Allah, it becomes less dependent on constant attention or approval from others. Sometimes faith requires us to make choices that are different from those around us. We should remain firm when our values conflict with popular trends or social pressures.
Quiet moments spent in remembrance and reflection can help us understand ourselves and deepen our faith. A believer should appreciate people without becoming dependent upon their praise, acceptance, or approval.

At the same time, the Qur’an teaches believers to be careful with their words:
“O you who believe! Be mindful of Allah and speak righteous [and just] words,” (Q 33:70)

The Last Moments of the Holy Prophet (saww)

Only a short while had passed after this when Imam Alī (a) stood up saying: “Condolences to you all and may Allah (swt) increase your reward for the pain of losing your Prophet, for indeed Allah has taken his soul!” Upon hearing this, voices were raised in crying. This was the saddest day in the history of mankind and the most painful blow to the hearts of the Muslims. No other day saw more crying and weeping than that day.

Unique Qualities of Imam al-Husayn (a)

Crying for Imam al-Husayn (a)

There are no eyes and (there is) not a tear loved more by Allāh
than the eyes of those who cry and shed tears over Husayn (a).
Verily anyone who cries over him connects with Fātimah (sa),
supports her (in her lamentation), connects with the Messenger
of Allāh (saww), and fulfils our rights.
