Ahl al-Bayt (a)

  • The Immaculate Etiquette of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a)
He (a) is reported to have said,
  • Three Things to Live by
  • Salawaat of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a)
O Allah, bless Muhammad Ibn Ali, the exponent of knowledge, the Imam of guidance, the leader of the Godwary and the chosen of Your Servants! O Allah, inasmuch as
You made him the hallmark for Your servants, the minaret for Your towns, the
repository of Your wisdom and the interpreter of Your revelations, commanding
all people to obey him, warning them from disobeying him, bless him. O Lord, with the best blessings You have granted to any of the progeny of Your prophets, Your elect, Your apostles and trustees, O Lord of the Worlds!
  • The Immaculate Character of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a)
The 5thand 9th Holy Imam (a) shared the same name; Muhammad ibn Ali. They
also had the same Kuniya; Abu Ja'far
Imam Muhammad
al-Baqir (a) was a
descendant of the Ahlul Bayt (a) from both sides. His father was the son of Imam al-Husayn (a) and his mother was the daughter of Imam
al-Hasan (a). He was like the fruit of the leaders
of the Youth of Paradise.
  • The Re-appearance of Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf)
Imam al-Baqir (a) has said that this verse refers to the family of the Prophet (s). Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf) and his companions will rule over the east and the west of the earth. At that time, the religion of Islam shall prevail over all other religions. All falsities will be removed ; no trace of injustice will be seen.
