The parable of His Light is a niche wherein is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star lit \u2026\u201d (Q24:35) \nAli ibn Ja\u2019far said, I asked Ab\u0101 al-Hasan (al-K\u0101\u1e93im) (a) about \nthe [meaning of] words of All\u0101h: \u2018a niche where there is a lamp\u2026\u2019 He (a) said: \u2018the niche is F\u0101\u1e6dimah (sa), the lamp is al-Hasan (a) and \nal-Husayn (a) is the glass.\u2019 About the phrase \u2018as it were a glittering star lit\u2019 he said: \u2018F\u0101\u1e6dimah (sa) was like a shining star among the women of the worlds...\u2019 and about \u2018whose oil almost lights up\u2019 he said: \u2018knowledge was about to flow forth from her.\u2019 \nIn another similar narration, the Holy Prophet (saww) said: \u2018and the light of my daughter F\u0101\u1e6dimah is from the light of Allah (swt).
