If we pray salaah and still commit sins, then there is definitely a problem with that salaah. Ulema have mentioned that there is a difference between our salaah being sahih or being accepted. If we follow all the correct rules that are written in the Taudhi-ul-Masa\u2019il, then our salaah might be sahih, but if it does not take us away from sins, then it is not accepted. \nImam al-Sadiq (a) is reported to have said, \u201cThe first thing that will be reckoned from a servant is the prayer. Then if the prayer is accepted, his other (good) deeds will be accepted, but if it is \nrejected his other (good) deeds will not be accepted either.\u201d\nPrayer validates all our good deeds and your beliefs.
